it's over. he won. i couldn't bring myself to vote for either of them, honestly, and was disheartened that was the best our country could come up with as options. my wallet leans more republican and my morals are democratic, but i'm also a grown up and it's time to move on and make the best of it. no matter who you are. the results will affect each and every one of us. period.
but protesting in the streets? vandalizing property? threats and bullying? wtf is wrong with people? if that was my kid, i'd be out there grabbing them by the hair dragging them home like that awesome mom did during the baltimore riots.
college professors actually cancelled classes so the students could deal with the results? that's got to be the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard. what is that teaching them? if ever in life you don't get your way, take a few days off? hell no.
i couldn't believe my eyes this morning when i saw a video on fb of a mother who fake kicked her kid out of the house for voting for trump in a pretend school election. that poor child was crying and traumatized beyond belief.
again, wtf is wrong with people? doing these things and acting this way isn't going to change anything. grow up.
